Lenard
Marlow, Director of Legal Services at Divorce Mediation Professionals, has been a practicing attorney for over forty years. A fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, he has worked exclusively in the field of family law for over thirty-five years. As a pioneer in the field of divorce mediation, he is the founder of one of the oldest and largest divorce mediation facilities in the United States. Past president of the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, and a respected leader in the field, he has lectured extensively on the subject, both in the United States and Canada, as well as in Europe and South America, where he has conducted numerous trainings and workshops.
He is currently an adjunct professor in the Graduate Programs in Marriage and Family Therapy at Hofstra University, where he teaches a course on divorce mediation.
Lenard is the author of numerous books and articles on the subject of divorce mediation, including The Handbook of Divorce Mediation (co-authored with Dr. S. Richard Sauber, Editor in Chief of The American Journal of Family Therapy), published by Plenum Press, and Divorce and the Myth of Lawyers and Divorce Mediation - A Practice In Search of A Theory, both published by Harlan Press. His latest book has just been translated into Spanish, and was published by Granica both in Spain and Argentina.

Barbara
Badolato is a certified social worker and the Director of Mediation Services at Divorce Mediation Professionals. In her twenty years of experience working with couples in divorce mediation, she has had a great deal of experience working with the emotional aspects and financial concerns of husbands and wives going through the difficult experience of their separation and divorce.
As a well respected member of the mental health profession, she is active in the training and continuing education of other mediators in the field. She has made numerous presentations at programs and conferences sponsored by The New York State Council on Divorce Mediation, the Academy of Family Mediators and the Family and Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York. She has also lectured on the subject of divorce mediation at law schools and universities in the New York area, including St. John’s University School of Law and Adelphi University’s School of Social Work.
Barbara has been affiliated with Stony Brook University School of Social Work as a field instructor, and is also in private practice working with individuals and doing couple’s therapy.

Maren Cardillo, Esq.
Attorney at Law, Co-Director of Legal Services:
Maren Cardillo, co-director of Legal Services at Divorce Mediation Professionals, has been practicing as an attorney-mediator for the entirety of her legal career. She holds a B.A. in history from Northwestern University and received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a member of the Corporate and Financial Law Journal.
Maren is the co-author of A Practical Guide to Divorce (in progress) a handbook intended to provide practical information to divorcing couples in mediation. Currently, she is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the national Association for Conflict Resolution, and the New York State Council on Divorce Mediation.
